1. EMERGENCY ACTION NEEDED!!!
CLICK HERE for an EMERGENCY APPEAL from Senator Janet Greenip (and myself) for you to get involved NOW! TODAY!
SB566 - The argument FOR this bill is that it’s “only fair”. Of course this is a sham and a cover-up for the real reason. That is to get a new definition of marriage into law so it will be impossible for parents, clergy, teachers OR ANYONE to disagree with homosexual behavior. As you see in the attached , there are already ways to have visitation rights and medical decisions accomplished without this smokescreen of a law.
Please PRAY, call your Senator, sent emails to their office, call talk radio, alert your friends and neighbors and GET THIS BILL STOPPED!
Below is the list of the first vote taken. THIS IS NOT THE FINAL VOTE. It may come later today or tomorrow.
Call those Senators that voted “Yea” tell them to rethink the bill and vote “NO”. Call those that voted “NAY” and thank them, ask them to stay strong.
Their contact information is listed at the end of Sen. Greenip's message. (click here)
If you have any questions on the issue, feel free to call the office at 410.760.9166.
Doug Stiegler, Executive Director

3. WARNING: "DAY OF SILIENCE" COMING TO MARYLAND
Friday, April 25, several thousand schools across the nation will be observing "Day of Silence (DOS)." DOS is a nationwide push to promote the homosexual lifestyle in public schools.
FPL is joining other family-oriented groups in urging parents to keep their children at home that day if their local school is participating in the DOS project. By remaining silent, the intent of the pro-homosexual students is to disrupt the classes while promoting the homosexual lifestyle. DOS is sponsored by an activist homosexual group, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). Students are taught that homosexuality is a worthy lifestyle, homosexuality has few or no risks, and individuals are born homosexual and cannot change. Those who oppose such teaching are characterized as ignorant and hateful bigots.
Last years list is included to show you the GROWING number of schools promoting homosexuality. If your school has been add this year you may want to contact your principal to ask that it be promoted at your school. Let us know of the response you get. Notice that one school from 2007 has been removed from the list for 2008. http://www.onenewsnow.com/Culture/Default.aspx?id=69231
